STYLE CONVERSATION HOLIDAY EDITION “THE UNTRADITIONAL BOOK TOUR”

FASHION & STYLE BITES

Happy New Year! Tis’ the Season of joy, giving, celebration, and endless possibilities.  Back in July we shared the first stop of Fashion Designer Sara C. Jones’ Style Conversation Multi City Tour Series.  Well… Curator Sara C. Jones stopped by her hometown of Delaware to host a Holiday Edition of Style Conversation.   As ‘Joy to the world”, “O holy night”, and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” played in the background, guests began to arrive to the quaint and upscale Buckley’s Tavern in Greenville, Delaware.  The tablescapes of vintage dollies, red carnations, sweet treats, and chic bags of small gifts greeted us alongside our name cards and thank you notes.

Buckley’s Tavern served an amazing family style brunch from gourmet pastries, Belgium waffles, to salmon egg omelets. The food was delightful and so very tasty for a beautiful Sunday morning.  Keeping up with the theme of the Season of giving the event had some notable sponsors give their services and product to the event.  Myster lemonade from Delaware was the official beverage sponsor.  Antionette Blake of A. Blake Enterprises Social Media Maven covered the event in live time for Social media, and Stilletto House, OPI, and Shoe dazzle gifted us some beautiful beauty products.  In our tablescape I mentioned sweet treats, Parties by Bootsie created small dollies lined boxes of decadent cookies for us to enjoy, Yum!

Boutique owners, women in business, stylists, and jewelry creators gathered at three round tables to engage in what is call Style  Conversation. We discussed business, Vision Boards, the struggles of pushing through to your purpose and to your passion, and we can’t forget the style gems for the holiday Sara left us.  Metallic’s, statement necklaces or chokers, and a bad a** shoe will take any holiday or new year’s look to an undeniably stunning look.

We love that Sara always includes her guests, her posed question was a great way to get us feeling stylish and empowered for the New Year. Question: What do you wear that makes you feel Bossy?

Sara C. Jones Curator of Style Conversation – “The bossiest item you can wear daily is confidence and then add a well fit Dress”

Raven Robinson Of PR2Politics – “Blazers make me feel Bossy”

Nataki Oliver of Myster Lemonade – “High heels and Lipstick”

Kelly Jones of The Cleaning Girl Inc. – “Heels and a matching Handbag”

Daya Washington of Host Helpers of DE – “A Classic Black Blazer”

Amber Patterson of AP Stitching – “Scarves, not only are they warm, but they are a great compliment to my outfit – I feel like a boss”

Shaneice Oree of SEOree – “I love a fab High heel shoe”

Wanda Oree – “My jewelry from my collection”

Helen Scott – “A classic suit with a pump”
